History
In the Autumn of 2005 Stig Bloch Milfeldt was sitting at an outdoor café with a gas heater blasting away. His toes were freezing. His head was boiling. Which is when a thought struck him. Instead of blasting heat down against its will, why not place it near the feet, so that warmth would rise and soak gradually through the body. And, instead of blasting carbon dioxide shamelessly into the environment, why not come up with a more efficient, cleaner solution?
In a small workshop in Lonaa Stig & Lars set to developing their idea and created Mensa Heating. A working prototype followed soon after and Vireoo has since won several international design awards. Riding this exposure, and in order to meet the exceptionally high quality requirements, production was switched to a Danish managed factory in China were they have been busy bringing Mensa Heating’s first product to market: the Vireoo.
